As you probably know, Adobe Reader DC has a problem where it freezes when you switch between multiple PDFs that have been opened with tabs. This problem seems to be widespread (we've been able to replicate the issue on 10+ PCs in my environment). There are other users complaining about the same problem, such as in the thread below:

Until Adobe fixes the bug, the only solution that I can see is to disable the tabs feature. Is it possible to disable tabs using the registry? Is there a way to do it using the Customization Wizard?
