Interactive button roll-off not working in Acrobat Pro DC

$

Interactive PDF exported from InDesign CC are experiencing [Rollover] state bugs on interactive buttons.

Buttons with a [Rollover] state are not reverting to the [Normal] state on roll-off, but only when the cursor leaves the button from the bottom or right edge. It does work when the cursor leaves from the top or left edge of the button.

Issue is with Acrobat Pro DC Version 2018.011.2040, no version newer has been tested or installed anywhere in our office.

Issue is not present in Reader XI 11.0.20, or earlier versions of Acrobat.

Automatic update for Acrobat Reader DC does not update

I have a computer lab all installed with Acrobat Reader DC. Some of them are on  version 2019.008.20071, and some are on 2019.008.20074. We are having an issue with the header being cut off / trimmed when printing in Acrobat Reader version 2019.008.20071, but prints perfectly fine in version 2019.008.20074. Why is it that some PCs are able to update automatically, and others are not? How can I trigger the automatic update for all the PCs, and not have to manually update each computer 1 by 1? All PCs have the AdobeARMservice started.

Acrobat Standard DC verwandelt sich in Pro

Hallo,

Karsten

Hi,

I am trying to change following settings via registry or a configuration file across all workstations in our organization.

Tracker

Under the sentence that reads "Automatically Check for New Comments and Form Data," scroll right to select Never.

Under the sentence that reads "Suspect the Check for New Comments and Form Data," scroll left and select After 30 days of inactivity.

How can I change this setting other than Adobe application GUI interface?

Thank you kindly for help.

SCCM 1806 - Third Party Patching of Adobe Reader fails with error 1615

I am using SCCM's Third-Party patching tool and I'm having a problem updating Adobe Reader DC on approximately 40 PCs.  These are all Windows 7 64-Bit Enterprise machines.  Most of these machines have been in production for about 5 years or more.  I have been trying to get these to update by performing a clean install.  I have already used the Adobe Reader cleanup tool (both versions for Reader and DC) and I have ran these twice before installing Adobe Reader.  The version that has been installed is 19.008.20071.  I have an update that I have been trying to push to these 40 machines is Adobe Reader DC 19.008.20074.  Adobe Reader DC 19.008.20074 is failing like all other previous updates.  Just to let everyone know, these issues happened after we attempted to push Adobe Reader DC continuous track on all our machines.  For some reason these 40 machines just failed.  They failed to properly uninstall all old versions of Adobe reader, and even after the Adobe Reader cleaner, I still cannot push updates after a fresh clean install.  Any help will be appreciated.  Also to note, we have some Group Policies in place for Adobe Reader 11 and Adobe Reader DC, but I do not think this would have this kind of adverse effect.  And, we have established at our organization that we will not auto patch any 3rd party products.

Here is the error log I am getting:

Is there a notification service for when new releases are released?

Is there a  notification service for when new releases are released, planned or otherwise?  Like the Adobe Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) Blog that you can subscribe to?  We deployed the latest planned version of Reader and Acrobat, 19.008.20071.  But I had no idea that 20074 and 20080 have come out since.

Customize the mails adobe sends to new users to download acrobat enterprise

Hello,

I'm deploing adobe enterprise pro for some customers. Every time I add a new person in the reseller-console, adobe sends a mail for registration and after that a "welcome" message to download adobe acrobat.

Is there a way to customize these 2 mails?

The reason why i'm asking is that the end-users should not download acrobat by them selves, so i do not want to send them a download link.

Thanks in advice!

Verify License of Acrobat Pro DC via Registry or Other Method

I have a couple of subscription licenses for Acrobat Pro DC. Our notes on the computers they were assigned to were misplaced. We think we have a good sense of which computers have them, but is there a way to confirm remotely, i.e., via a Registry Key or .XML file or similar on the computer, without having to connect to the computer and launch the software?

We buy a Acrobat STD DC continuous  edition, but it always pop up the below message, after we click the ok button, it shutdown the application.

The message is:

Your subscription entitles you to simplified Chinese product versions. Please verify the language settings in your OS, browser, and software download are set to simplified Chinese.

We try setting OS language to the settings it mentions above, and make sure we download the package from the adobe admin console is the right simple Chinese version, but the problem still exist. May I know any one help us?Thank you!Capture_adobeerr.JPG

How can I modify he tool panes shortcut for enterprise deployment

I am using the customization wizard to create a transform and deploy Acrobat Pro 2017 to our enterprise. They would like a tool shortcut added for everyone. In the online guide (quoted below) it says it can be done but does not say how. Does anyone know how this can be done?

Enabling Tools pane shortcuts

A select list of tools in the Tools tab also have shortcuts in the right-hand pane. End users can modify this list by opening the drop down list under a tools and choosing Add/Remove Shortcut. Admins can preconfigure the right-hand pane tools shortcuts prior to deployment so that users have easy access to the tools they are most likely to use.

How do I install / configure this so that users are not pushed to create Adobe accounts?

I have a View 7.4 environment, linked clones that are in a fixed pool - that is, a user is assigned to only their 1 desktop.  Still running Windows 7 currently, but will be upgrading to 10 in 1Q 2019.  Need to get this added for all users.

Good afternoon all,

We are having an issue with Adobe acrobat DC. We are able to launch the application as a user. We get the splash screen with the tour option. We close this and try to open a pdf document. The document opens and and after a few seconds, the application crashes with the following error -

Problem signature:

  Problem Event Name: APPCRASH

I have looked online for information on this issue. I have tried a reg key to disable protected mode, creating folders in the c:\Users\username\appdata\local\ (forget the rest of the path). These are not protected documents. This started happening after the installation of adobe updates. Acrobat DC worked fine up until mid september, 2018.

Any information is greatly appreciated,

adobe dc pro install patch update to customized install

$

We are using a stand alone version of Adobe DC Pro (15.006.30033.2205) (no other Adobe products).  Windows 7 32-bit environment.  I have used the Adobe customization tool to create a custom install package.  I now need to update this package with the latest patch from Adobe to correct a recent security patch.

Ideally I'd like to make a new customized installer package as this allows us to disable the Adobe Sign-In feature, which our agency will never use.

I am trying to use:  msiexec /i acropro.msi PATCH="Acrobat2015Upd1500630280.msp" TRANSFORMS="AcroPro.mst"

The .mst file was created by the customization tool.  However, when I run this command, I get the error:

"This patch package could not be opened.  Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package."

I have attempted uninstall and reboot and cleaning the registry of previous installation of Adobe DC Pro without any luck.

Can someone provide guidance on how to create a new customized install with the latest patch and still have the Adobe Sign-In option disabled?

Terminalserver - Language Selection

Hello,

we are trying to install Acrobat Pro via Adobe Customization Wizard on a Terminalserver environment. Installation works fine, however we have some users which use the German language pack, and others using English. I'm trying to achieve Acrobat to ask users, for the first time they start the client, which language they would prefer. Currently it always selects German as default, since this is our system language.

Is there any solution for this via Customization Wizard or registry, to force Acrobat displaying the language selection popup?

I would appreciate any help.

Kind regards,

Morris

Deploy Adobe Reader

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the "Tools Pane", when we push a new version, the Tools Pane is newly enabled... The customer must go to Preferences/Documents/Remember current state of Tools Pane and push shift-f4.

Then I push a new version, and again the same must be done.... Annoying-

I had a solution that I found on the web... Modify the registry with the following parameter :

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.DC\shell\Open\command]

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /A "toolbar=0&navpanes=0" "%1"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document.DC\shell\Read\command]

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /A "toolbar=0&navpanes=0" "%1"

But did not work anymore... Tools Pane is back....

The only working way was to delete viewer.aapp....

I use "Acrobat Customization Wizard DC" to set my Reader DC installation. Is there a way to use this Customization Wizard to hide this Tools Pane by default???????

And When NOT can you please give me a solution to hide this with command line or registry modification?

I see a lot of post complaining about this but no viable solution was given...

thx

Acrobat 2019 completely disappearing after iMac start-up

Having an issue where the Acrobat DC 2019 application completely disappears each day after starting up in the morning. I'm running a Late 2015 Retina 5K iMac with OS High Sierra 10.13.6.

Reinstalling Acrobat DC works until the iMac is shut down and restarted. I've tried running the update patch to version 19.008.20080, but this did not solve the issue.

I'm on a corporate enterprise account for Adobe CC, and other users are experiencing the same issue with Acrobat 2019.

Is there a way to re-install Acrobat 2018?

Some recipients can submit the forms normally, others get an error "acrobat could not submit your data. please see tracker for more information"

viewing the tracker from the problematic systems shows the network location of the document with an X, even though they can browse to it and have permissions
